Magnification lens sit a little high and tend to make you dizzy if you have to walk through the plant with them on.

  2. LTP

I got these for multi purpose. I use them for bike rides, running, and also protection from carpentry tasks. They are great, BUT when ever I clean them, which is often, one lens pops out. I am using the cloth they supply and being really gentle, and it still pops out. Fortunately it also pops back in, but this is super annoying. I don’t really want to invest the time in setting up a return and driving them to the return site because I just don’t have the time, but if they were any more expensive, I would return them.UPDATE: This company reached out to me right away. I had to send pics of the flaw (understandable) and they replaced the pair quickly. They were quick with communication, and very easy to work with. This improved the review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Since scratched and scuffed safety glasses are a major issue working in construction, I waited a couple months before reviewing, to see how these held up over time.I’m actually impressed with how durable and scratch resistant they are, and I’m pretty hard to impress.Add to it they fit nicely and are comfortable, I’ll be buying them again when the need arises, though that will apparently be sometime in the future, as they are still in great shape after several months of daily use.I may actually buy a 2nd set as a backup, just in case.So …follow up addition….The nose bridge softens very quickly and deforms badly, making them unusable. The company did send a replacement pair, but the same thing happened.Heat, facial oils, oils feom work, all contributed to melt these nosepieces, and they aren’t replaceable, making an otherwise awesome pai of safety glasses useless.Love everything else about these glasses, but that’s a desl breaker for me

  4. Stefanie N. Metzroth

I work in healthcare and we are now required to wear eye protection at all times. I need reading glasses so the employer provided eye protection was not working for me. I was constantly switching back and forth between my reading glasses and my eye protection. These safety glasses were a great solution. It took a couple of days to get used to the bifocal part but now they are working well for me and serving the intended purpose. I can leave them on at all times, whether I am going in a patient’s room or looking at a chart. The quality is very good and I think they will be very durable.

Fits very well and protects eyes!!!

I’m an RN I am now required to wear eye protection at all times when providing patient care. I need eye protection that works. Being of the age that I need reading glasses I struggled with regular reading glasses combined with the required safety glasses and face shield I have to wear, making it very difficult to see clearly while inserting IV’s. Then I found the Tool Freak Bifocal Safety Readers and BOOM, PROBLEM SOLVED! These glasses are outstanding! I was going to buy less expensive glasses but after reading reviews and going to the old adage “you get what you pay for” so I decided on the Tool Freak Brand. Not only do they provide great optical clarity but they are very comfortable, I wear them all day long, 13 to 14 hour days that is, no candy a$$ 8 hour days here. I’ve let other healthcare providers try them and they immediately ordered their own. I even got a second pair for home.Pros: Great optical clarity all around. Excellent coverage. Very comfortable. Stylish.Cons: I haven’t found any yet.Bottom line, I feel very well protected with these while carrying out my duties as a Registered Nurse and have no issues seeing to insert IV’s with these. Great product! Thanks Tool Freak!

Always nice to have a few extra safety glasses around to work with my boys. These are one of the first ones they grab for. Light weight and comfortable

  8. Mark

I bought a few pairs of these. Sunshade ones when in yard and clear when in garage working and one with a magnifier built in to bottom of glass which helps when mixing chemicals and small print for mix rates need to be read. They are a bit more costly then most but like I stated they got “style” and seem to be well made. I haven’t worn them a lot as just got them. If I need to update this review I’ll be back.

  9. Don R.

After two weeks nose piece broke off frame. Two weeks later frame cracked in half above left eye piece. Glued together until I can purchase another brand.

  10. Not grumpy now!

These are light weight, durable and look good too. I’ve gotten several compliments from people in my shop. The bifocals took a little while tor me to get used too however now I never do anything in my shop without these on.

  11. Richard Bloomstein

Fantastic for 2 weeks. Comfortable. Felt solid. Clear, no fog. Nice case. Then broke at bridge. Attempted to repair. OK but disappointing. Were most expensive goggles I purchased. Too bad. Bought other goggles at 1/3 the price which are just as good.
